5 Ways to Incorporate Hydrate Me Please Into Your Natural Hair Regimen

If you’ve finally received your jar of Hydrate Me Please in the mail, we know you’re itching and ready to use it as soon as possible. Thankfully, there are many ways to incorporate HMP into your regimen without much fuss at all! We don’t call it a “one-stop shop” product for nothing! With that being said, here are 5 ways to incorporate HMP into your natural hair regimen:

1. Reduce Dandruff and Itchiness

If you suffer from dandruff and itchiness, apply a bit of HMP to your scalp at least 3x a week. Our product contains a blend of anti-inflammatory essential oils that will help eliminate the itchiness you’re experiencing, while the healing properties of aloe vera and shea butter will seal and lock that moisture into the scalp.

2. Treat Thinning Edges

Apply HMP to edges that are beginning to thin out. Our product contains JBCO and tea tree oil which have both been shown to treat and reverse symptoms of hair loss. Not only that, but the hair on your edges will be moisturized which will reduce the amount of breakage you’re experiencing.

3. Do a Deep Treatment

If you’re experiencing a more serious case of dryness and breakage, you can use HMP as a no-rinse deep treatment. Just apply a decent amount (not saturated) to freshly washed hair from ends to roots, cover with a conditioning cap and sit under a dryer for 30 minutes. If you have a hair steamer, you can sit under that with your hair uncovered for 20 minutes for the best results. Afterwards, just style as usual

4. Use it as a Styling Aid

HMP can be used to style anything from locs to rodsets, cornrows and box braids. Just apply HMP to freshly washed and conditioned hair from ends to roots and continue styling as usual.

5. Refresher

If you’ve found that your hair is getting a bit frizzy or may be in need of some additional moisture, apply a small amount of HMP to the hair before bed and put on your headscarf. In the morning the frizz will be laid and your hair will be moisturized and shiny!
